MSN Detective is a small utility for MSN Messenger that lets you know for sure if your contacts are really connected. It will put your mind at rest to know if anyone is blocking you in this popular instant messaging program, because it can detect if anyone is pretending to be disconnected when they are, in reality, busy on line with other contacts and are trying to avoid you.

MSN Detective offers you a number of recommended steps to take in order to achieve the results you want. Among these is one which recommends that you connect with MSN Detective to a different account to the one you normally use, so as not to disconnect the session you started in your MSN Messenger.

MSN Detective works by sending you an alert when someone blocks you. All you need to do is sign in to the program and you will see a list of your contacts. You just need to highlight a contact you want to know about, and click the "Check" button. You will then see if that contact is connected to you or, on the contrary, has blocked you but is still active.
